It has been a busy week for us. With all of the Apple announcements last week, we seem to be running around like crazy this week just trying to keep up. Proof of that is the fact that I have resorted to drinking coffee which I've done only on special occasions in the past. So if you have any recommendations on coffee let me know. I found it funny I had to ask one of our certified Apple Technicians how to make a batch today.

Canon announces $200 savings on select EOS camera packages.

Canon just announced $200 in savings on certain Canon EOS camera packages now through March 1, 2009. This is a great deal for Professional and Advanced Amateur photographers who are looking for one of Canon's amazing EOS digital cameras. What you need to do is make a combination purchase from the eligible camera, lens, and Speedlite products (see rebate form here). The combination purchase must contain one eligible Canon EOS Digital SLR camera (body or kit) and one eligible lens and a 580EX II Speedlite. All three purchases must appear on one receipt and the purchase of a camera kit does not meet the lens requirement.

Apple quietly updates the white MacBook

Apple quietly updates the $999 MacBook with more RAM, better video, and a downsize in processor speed. Yes, you read that right. It did appear strange that the $999 MacBook had a faster processor than the $1299 MacBook and was probably the main reason for the downgrade in processor speed. The lack in performance is insignificant and it is nothing compared to the boost in video and double the RAM.

Because of the change in models, we should have a couple of the older models left and selling them at a discount for only $949.

The new model should ship in about a week.
